Mrs. Zannai Partain, age 83 of Jasper went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Empire Memorial Cemetery.  Pastor Bruce LeVan will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Partain was a member of Empire Church of God.  She taught school for 30 years after obtaining a Masters Degree in education. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Tezzie Creel and three brothers, Paul, Rip, and David Creel.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Partain of Jasper; daughter, Vanessa Capps and her husband, Mike of Jasper; granddaughters, Mallory Jenkins and her husband, Randy of Empire and Amber Maddox and her husband, Taylor of Parrish; great grandchildren, Brayden and Colt Jenkins of Empire and Elizabeth Grace Maddox of Parrish; and a host of other friends and relatives.
