Mr. Tommy Clay Smith, age 47, of Birmingham passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. Tommy lived a hard life, but could always put a smile on your face. At the time of his death, he had been living in Birmingham. There are no services scheduled at this time. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Sherman Smith; sons, James Dalton Smith and Patrick Dylan Smith; and grandmother, Jean Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa McGuire Smith; daughters, Jessica Ann Smith, Katie Eleene Smith and Katlyn Nicole Smith; granddaughters, Gracelyn V. Lopez, Kynleigh Smith and Sophie Smith; goddaughters, Alicia Gormley and Cheslie Bills;  mother, Sandra Kelley; brothers, Jimmy Smith, Jamie Smith and Timmy Smith; nieces and nephews, Cody Smith, Alex Smith, Josie Smith and Tanner Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
