In Loving Memory of Theodore Scott Foster Lay

Theodore Scott Foster Lay, beloved infant son of Courtney Whalen and Jacob Lay, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Theodore was born on April 20, 2024, and though his time with us was brief, he was deeply cherished and loved by all who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Courtney and Jacob, and his older sister, Delia Lay. Theodore is also dearly missed by his grandparents, Stacey and Tom Moore, Wendy Whalen and Kevin Stokes. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will always hold his memory close to their hearts.

Theodore was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jane and Fred Whalen, his grandfather, Mike Lay, his aunt, Chanda Galloway, his uncle, Ben King, and his great-aunt, Leslie Gunter.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 20, 2024 at 12:30pm at Bell Sumiton Chapel with visitation beginning at 12:00pm. Bro. Jeremy McCollum will be officiating and burial to follow at Shanghi Cemetery in Quinton AL.
