Obituary for Tabitha Rèna Wright

Tabitha Rèna Wright, age 55, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at her residence. She was a beloved wife, mother, mimi, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Tabitha was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Martha Keene; her brother, Tony Keene; her grandmothers, Willie Colburn and Polly Keene; and her father-in-law, Billy Wright.

She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Wright; her son, Rev. Tyler Keene (Mandy); her daughters, McKenna Bridges (Micah) and Brandi Boyd (Kris Brown); her grandchildren, Tucker Keene, Avery Jane Keene, Titus Keene, Maggie Jane Bridges, Rylan Brown, Kayden Brown, and Konner Brown. She is also survived by her special sister, Seredia Clements; special niece, Chelsea Keene; her brother, Thomas "Bogie" Keene, Jr.; her sister, Tonya Keene; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Tabitha was known for her kind heart, loving spirit, and her infectious laugh. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A funeral service to celebrate Tabitha's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Living Light Church of God in Jasper, with visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Pocahontas Cemetery. Pastor John Billy Butler will officiate.
