Mrs. Susan Arlene Busby Fowler, age 72, of Empire passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Cordova Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel.  Pastor Joshua East will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lehmon Fowler; son, Timothy "Tim" Fowler; parents, Woodrow and Rosa Busby; infant brother, Eric Busby; brother, Lyric Busby; daughter-in-law, Jaime Fowler; and son-in-law, Joseph Jones.

She is survived by her children, Kandy Fowler Drummond (Jay), Terry Fowler, Kristy Jones (Larry Hood) and Krista Fowler Gardner (Justin); grandchildren, Joshua East (Danielle), Jason Fowler, Joseph Jones, Christopher Jones, Terylin Fowler, Aderana Fowler and Lyric Fowler; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Cindy Beard; and a host of other family and friends.
