Mr. Steven L. Bowling, age 52, of Sumiton passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel.   Bro Gene Cook will officiate.  Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his father, Letcher Eugene Bowling; mother, Lois Bowling; brother, Mark Bowling; and sister, Myra Moon.

He is survived by his wife, Janie "Daisy" Oden Bowling of Sumiton, AL; daughters, Amber Ross (Jeff) of Birmingham, AL and Tiffany Brodie (Jason) of Graysville, AL; brothers, Joey Bowling of Dora, AL and Michael Bowling of Adamsville, AL; granddaughters, Kirsten Sutton Brodie of Graysville, AL and Savannah Ross of Birmingham, AL; grandson, Wyatt Ross of Birmingham, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to the Grandkids' saving account in honor of Papa. (The funeral home will collect these Monday).
