Mr. Steve Roger Poore, age 76, of Oneonta passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is preceded in death by is mother, Thelma Pauline Poore; father, Travis L. Poore; sister, Gwen Dickerson; father-in-law, Edward Dickerson; and mother-in-law, Johnnie B. Dickerson

He is survived by his wife, Gale Poore of Oneonta, AL; children, Sophia Delcotto (Robert) of Phoenix, AZ, Roger W. Poore of Oneonta, AL, Glenda R. Poore of Jemison, AL, Angela Barton (Terry) of Beecher, IL, Christina Poore of Oneonta, AL, Jay Hayes (Vonda) of Sumiton, AL, Darlene Rose (Anthony) of Jefferson Co, AL, Hank Hayes (Julie) of Gardendale, AL and Shelby Hayes Dixon of Oneonta, AL; brother, Greg Poore (Tonya) of Cleburne, TX; 19 wonderful grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
