Sidney Leon Sayre, age 64 of Empire died Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medial Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Dilwoth Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Luther and Ida Helen Sayre; daughter, Stephanie Sayre; brothers, Fred Sayre and James Earl Sayre; granddaughter, Paisley Helen Sayre; and nephew, Mark Sayre.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Sayre; children, Brandy Patterson and her husband, Jeffery, Chris Sayre and his wife, Cheyenne Styles; Casey Sayre and his wife, Niki; sister, Pat ward and her husband, James; sister, Cynthia Sayre; sister-in-law, Janice Hubbard; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
