Shelia A. Johnson, age 55, of Dora passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at UAB Hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 5, 2023 at Sardis Cemetery on the River Road. Bro. Hollis Alexander will officiate. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Sumtion has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Earl Hester; and son, Richie Hester. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Ann Hester; daughter, Niki Jill Thomas (Benjamin); brother, Charles William Hester (Betty Sue); nephew, Charles Earl Hester; and granddaughter, Nakol Woodley.
