Mr. Scotty L. Busby, age 50, of Sumiton passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Busby Cemetery in Goodsprings, AL. Pastor James Hagood will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Lane Busby; father, Benny Busby; dad, Darrell Jackson; and grandparents, Dewey and Betty Walls and LB and Lucille Busby.

He is survived by his mother, Janice Walls Jackson; daughter, Selena Reyes Busby (Trevor); son, Scotty Lynn Busby Jr.; sisters, Sissy Laird (Billy), Cokie Edwards (Paul) and Angie Jones; girlfriend, Annie Beuford; stepsons, Michael and Jacob Cooke; and a host of other relatives and friends.
