Ruth Phillips age 84, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Funeral service will be held at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 2:00pm, visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial at New Horizon Memorial Gardens.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Phillips; son, Charles DeWayne Phillips; daughter, Debra Ruth Phillips; parents, Vera and Raz Williams; brothers, Horace Williams, Morris Williams, and Burl Williams.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Robert (Judy) Phillips, Thomas (Jaiel) Phillips, John (Alison) Phillips, and Christopher (Shauna) Phillips; daughter, Tracie (Kenneth) Mullins; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
