Ms. Ruby Mae Guyton, age 97, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 6, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Guyton; her granddaughter, Tiffany Jenkins; and her sisters, Ruth Hollis and Della Brasfield.

Ruby is survived by her loving children: Kenneth Guyton (Kathy), Daniel Guyton (Gloria), Bobby Guyton (Renae), Karen Guyton Jenkins (Holice), and Sandra Glover (Jeff). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Jeffrey Glover (Windy), Brian Guyton (Virginia), Holice Jenkins Jr. (Natalie), Alex Guyton (Ashley), and Jennifer McGaughy (Eric) , along with a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives who will forever treasure her memory.

Ruby worked for many years on a poultry farm and was a lifelong member of East Walker Church of Christ, where the congregation felt like family to her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. She found joy in flowers, quilting, and gardening, and she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit and kind heart.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bell Sumiton Chapel, with visitation from 1:00–2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Bell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
