Ronald David Day, age 71, of Empire, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He was born February 18, 1955.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel. Bro. James Beard will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Day worked in the coal mines as an electrician. He enjoyed flying airplanes, taking pictures, and spending time with his beloved cat, Frank. He is survived by his son, Ryan Day; sisters, Pam Capps (David), Tammy Mann (Kenny), Cynthia Levan and the late Bruce Levan; one brother, Scottie Day and the late Suzie Day; along with extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dearl Day Jr. and Louise Day Whitworth.
