Roevernie Groves Griffith, age 95 of Cordova died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Goodsprings Church of Christ with burial in adjoining cemetery.  William Tittle will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Edward Griffith; son, Jimmy W. Griffith; great granddaughter, Hillary Marie Sproul; son-in-law, Paul David Jean, Sr.; parents, Fred and Gertrude Groves; and a host of siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith Anne Griffith Jean of Cordova; grandchildren, Paul David Jean, Jr. (Rebecca) of Cordova, Marie Sproul of Northport, and James Griffith Jean (Amy) of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Heather Jean Logan (Ryan) of Cordova, David Brett Jean (Haley) of Cordova, and Benjamin Sproul of Irondale; great-great grandchildren, Roegan Wade Logan of Cordova, Ezra Jace Logan of Cordova, Marlee Harper Logan of Cordova, and Waylan David Jean of Cordova; sisters, Bobbie Nell Franklin of Jasper and Maurevine VanAllyne of Cordova.
