Rita Faye Sexton passed away at the age of 50 on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Funeral services will be held at Bell Funeral Home Chapel in Sumiton on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 6:00pm, visitation will be 4:30pm for family and 5:00pm for friends.

Rita was preceded in death by her father; Donald Ray Sexton and her mother; Wydonna Holmes

She is survived by her son and daughter; James (Destiny) Gentry, and Cherish Sexton, her grandchildren; Bentley Gentry, and Daniel Gentry, her sisters; Jennifer Sexton, Kimberley Short, and Melissa Hobson, her best friends; Shannon Watkins, and Gregory Watkins, her father figure; Daniel (Marilyn) Robert, and a host of nephews and nieces.
