Rex Roland Hopper, age 75, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00AM, the visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Graveside service to follow at Morgan Cemetery. Bro. Hollis Alexander will officiate.

Rex was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Etta Louise Hopper and his parents; Elvin Floyd George and Barbara Lee George.

Rex is survived by his son; David Hopper, and his daughter; Brandy Bradford (Kyle), granddaughters; Haylee Hopper, and Kimber Hopper, grandsons; Jack and Jacob Bradford, brother; Lee George.

Rex was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing and Alabama football, and when he was able, you could often find him on a riverbank enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors. Most of all, he loved his family and the time he spent with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
