Ms. Rebecca Pitts Ray, age 61, of Empire passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2020 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Valley Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie and Maybell Pitts; brother, Willie Randle Pitts, and brother-in-law, Wally Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Myers (Brandon); grandchildren, Ashlyn, Griffin and Addi Mae Myers; son, Kenny Ray Jr. (Lindsey); sister, Gail Thompson; family friends, Charlie Stanley and his daughter, Gabby and his son, Sam; and a host of nieces and nephews.
