Mr. Raymond "R.E" Eugene Goodwin, age 87, of Dora passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery.  Bro. Hollis Alexander will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Sally Goodwin; sons, Raymond Goodwin, Daymond Goodwin, Buddy Goodwin and Terry Tolson; and siblings, Beatrice Cagle, Charles Goodwin, Richard Goodwin, Robert Goodwin and Sarah Sumner.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Watts Goodwin; children, Phillip Ray Goodwin (Brandi), Kristie Goodwin Hollis (Jeremy), Debbie Goodwin, Sharon Pearson and Sherree Cato; grandchildren, Desiree Goodwin, Payton Goodwin, Haley Leach, Carson Phillips, Oakleigh Hollis, Paige Goodwin, Wesley Goodwin, Stephanie Phillips, Nikki Lee, Dakota Hicks, Misty Tolson, Luke Williams, Justin Beavers, Jarod Tolson, T.J. Tolson and Elizabeth Tolson; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
