Prescilla Genotiva Blackmon, age 69 of Empire, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Ridgeview Health Services in Jasper. She was born in Manilla, Philippines on January 7, 1952 to the late Alfonneo and Alberta Piedad Genotiva.

She is survived by her daughter, Trina Blackmon Phillips and her husband Jack; three grandchildren, Shalina Hammock and her husband Heath, Sheena Argo, and Max Prestin Phillips; two great grandchildren, Eden Hammock and Asa Hammock; as well as a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service for Prescilla will be announced later.
