Phillip Wayne Laye, age 66, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Diversicare Nursing Home. Phillip loved Alabama Football "Roll Tide"

He is preceded in death by his parents; Bill Laye and Florence Green, sister; Deborah Laye, grandmother; Rozela Green, and grandfather; Henry Green. 

Phillip is survived by his sister; Michele Buford (Raymond), brothers; Eddie Dean Laye and Justin Warren, nieces; Shalyna Shyan Jurvis, Nichol Buford, and Raylie Herron, nephews; Michael Bryan Buford, Zachary Nathaniel Jurvis, Daneil Buford, great- nieces; Raylie Herron, Neveah Johnson, great- nephews; Kizziah Herron, Acsule Jurvis, and Jay Jay Johnson.
