Paul R. Thacker, age 86 of Quinton died Friday, August 2, 2019 at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery.  Bro. Clint Moon will officiate.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Martha June Thacker; parents, Atha and Myrtie Thacker; brothers, James Thacker and Leon Thacker; sister, Mary Ruth Wilson; and great grandson, Nick Thacker.

Survivors include his daughter, Rita Freeman and her husband, Bo; son, Roger Thacker; grandchildren, Wendy Jones and her husband, Barrett, Zachary Sanford and his wife, Samantha, Kaitlyn Freeman, and Jessica Thacker; great grandchildren, Trulie Jones, Levi Jones, Asher Jones, Aiden Lindsey, Athan Sanford, Daxel Sanford, Ashlyn Skelton, and Ivy Key; and a host of other relatives and friends.
