Mr. Paul Adrian Ballenger, age 75, of Dora passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 27, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Davis Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Bruce LeVan will officiate and Floyd Burton will speak.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Those who knew Paul knew that his handicap proved to be no obstacle to him.  He lived with the crippling effects of Cerebral Palsy and lived his life to the fullest.  Paul was a presence in the Dora/Sumiton area and loved to meet up with his friends at Jack's and other places.  They would pick at him and of course he did his part of picking back at them.  He had a great sense of humor and most of all a great love for his God.  Our loss is heaven's gain.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Delcie Ballenger; and a host of brothers and sisters.

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
