Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Olivia Paige Savage, age 15, who left this world on August 19, 2026. Olivia was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends, cherished dearly by her parents, Wayne and Cindy Savage, father James Wayne Savage, and her beloved brothers, Jehden Bishop Savage, Brandon Ray Savage, and Harlan Savage. She is also survived by her great-grandmother, Elsie Savage, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her, including Aunt Carissa Savage Glass (Wood) and her uncles Joshua Craig (Amanda), Jason Craig, and Justin Craig (Angel Welch), along with her great aunts, Donna Savage and Betty Williams, and great uncle, James Pete Savage. Olivia was known for her boundless spirit and unwavering faith. She deeply loved her Lord and Savior and was an active member of her church community. She found joy in helping others, dedicating her time to working with local food banks, soup kitchens, and the Angel Wings Ministry. Olivia had a servant’s heart, always willing to lend a hand wherever needed, and she cherished her honorary title as a firefighter for Empire Fire and Rescue. Every visit to Maw Maw’s for breakfast was filled with laughter and delicious meals, and she loved to cook and share her culinary creations with those around her. Olivia’s impact on those she met was profound; her infectious smile and caring nature left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. While she is now reunited with her Aunt Brandy Savage, Aunt Meghan Savage, Great Grandfather James Jo Savage and her mother Brandi Bishop, her spirit will continue to shine through the love she gave and the lives she touched. In celebration of Olivia's life, her funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Sumiton Church of God. Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, allowing family and friends a chance to honor and remember this beautiful soul. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday at 10:00 at Empire Memorial Gardens, Officiating will be Bro. Jarret Smith and Pastor Phillip Walker, embracing the moments that Olivia’s family holds dear. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olivia’s memory to New Canaan Baptist Church.
