Nolan Ray Forester, Jr., age 72 of Sumiton died Monday, March 11, 2019 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery.  Rev. Johnny Sims will officiate.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Betty and Nolan R. Forester, Sr., and sisters, Barbara Smitherman and Kim Rainey.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Forester of Sumiton; two children, Renee Vann and her husband, Wayne, and Nathan Forester, all of Sumiton; four grandchildren, Ryan Forester and his wife, Hope, Morganne Vann, Michael Vann, and Brennen Forester, all of Sumiton; sisters, Linda Hill and her husband, Tom of Jasper, and Patra Corbin and her husband, Steve of Brookside; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
