The world is a colder, darker place because of the passing of my loving wife, Nancy Janene Franklin on the date of Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Hoagland, mother, Peggy Cupps, and step-father, Roy Cupp, grandmother, Georgia Lou.

She is survived by the following loving and caring people: husband, Ricky Franklin, daughter, Hope De'Ann Fowler, sister, LeAnn Harding and brother in law, Doug Harding, grandchildren, Saga, Ava, and Dakota Harper and great granddaughter, Audrey Kate Harper. As well as a host of family and friends. She thanks all of her friends and family that have supported her through her sickness and troubled times. Nancy lived in Empire, Al.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00pm at Bell Funeral Home Chapel in Sumiton, Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial at Morgan Cemetery.
