Mildred Porter Taylor of Sumiton, Alabama was the first born child in Empire, Alabama to Rev. and Mrs. Hobson Earnest Porter.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Pauline and Hobson Porter, her son Gary Earnest Taylor and grandson Clint Taylor.
Mildred is survived by her dear and only sister, Mary Porter Rousseau, San Antonio, TX Two sons Jesse Andrew Taylor wife Valerie J. Taylor of Pleasant Grove, AL and Kerry Joe Taylor Harvest, AL. Four grandchildren Jeremy Taylor Pleasant Grove, AL, Ashley Taylor Griffice and husband Landon Griffice, Oak Grove, AL, Caleb Matthew Taylor and wife Ma'Sades Dasha Day, Empire, AL, Alexandria Taylor and Brandon Taylor both of Decatur, AL. Six great grandchildren Madelyn, Meredith and Maci Claire Taylor all of Tuscaloosa, AL, Amelia MaryAnn Taylor, Remington Rose Taylor both of Empire and Tru Taylor of Decatur, AL plus a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at New Canaan Baptist Church, Empire, AL Perry Junior Chappell will officiate.
