Micheal Jerrime Mathis age 48, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. James Aycox will officiate. Burial will be at Little Vine Cemetery.

Micheal is preceded in death by his dad; William Mathis and his sister in law; Tina Mathis.

He is survived by his children; Michael W. (Destiny N.) Mathis of Bessemer, Al, James (Shawna Nelson) Mathis of Centerville, Al, and Jacob Mathis, his mother; Barbara Taylor, his brothers; Terry Mathis, Chris Mathis, Jimmy Mathis and Ben Mathis.
