Rev. Melvin Andy Tuggle, age 77, of Burnwell, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his residence.  He served as Pastor of the Union City Bible Church of God, Quinton, AL for 30 years.  Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 22, 2020 at Brasfield Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Talmadge Crawford will officiate.  Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Gloria Faye Tuggle: his son, David Anthony Tuggle; daughter, Clara Jean Tuggle; and grandson, Anthony Scott Tuggle.

Survivors include his sons Rev. Mitchell (Sherry Anne) and Rev. Daniel (Paula) Tuggle, of Burnwell; daughter Sherry (James) Mabe of Curry; grandchildren, Lee (Sheraye) Tuggle of Curry, Seth Miller (fiancé Malinda Roland) of Sylacauga, Joshua Tuggle of Dora, Amanda (Donovan) Lewis of Pineywoods, Kayla Tuggle of Dora, Jessica (Isaac) Bagwell of Cordova, and Anna (Dylan) Crider of Fayetteville, GA; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Evelyn Bagwell of Cordova, Adaline and Riley of Dora, and Denver Lewis of Pineywoods; brothers, Edward (Janice) and James (Debra) Tuggle of Burnwell and Rickey (Sandra) Tuggle of Fairburn, GA; several sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
