Mason Mark Lyn Ballenger, age 11 months, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Mark Ballenger; grandmother, Deborah Deloris McDaniel; cousins, Caleb Freeman, Shayla Freeman, Nevaeh Raines and Kiara Raines; great grandmother, Wanda Welch; and uncle, Caelin Ballenger.

He is survived by his parents, Jason and Mary Ballenger of Jasper; brother, Kyzer Willcutt of Empire; sisters, Isabella Willcutt of Empire and Hannah Ballenger of Centerpoint; grandparents, Angie Moore and David Buzbee of Empire; grandparents, Michelle Beard (Shannon) of Leeds; aunts, Rachel Ballenger (Johnny Johnson) of Centerpoint and Miranda Willcutt of Empire; godmother, Buffie Moore of Empire; mimi, Shea Jennings (Bubba) of Pinson; uncles, Tristan Miller (Samantha) of Cullman, Charles J. McDaniel of Louin, MS and Cody Ballenger of Tuscaloosa; great grandmother, Jackalyn Willcutt of Cordova; grandfather, Larry Willcutt of Cordova; great uncle, Paul Fortenberry; and a host of other relatives.
