Mary Louise Rainey, age 64 of Empire passed away on July 8, 2019 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Owens Chapel Church of God with burial in New Canaan Cemetery. Rev. T. J. Millican will be officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death was her sister, Andia Key; brother, Kenneth Gamble Jr.; and sister-in-law, Vanessa Gamble.

Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Rainey and Karen Whitlow; step-daughters, Kim Morgan and Shawanda Godfrey; son, J.R. Rainey; step-son, Timmy Vaughn; grandchildren, Kennedy, Mason, Audrey and Jaron Connison, Sia, A.P and Lily Godfrey, Glenda Whitten, Morgan Whitlow, River Corley and Destin Hand; fiancé, Nathaniel Jordan and his children, Zelda Brown, Nathan Jordan, Patrick Jordan and Rudy Brown; sisters, Carmen Payne (Jerry) and Kathie Guthrie (Randy); and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
