Mrs. Mary Maxine Crauswell Morgan, age 95, of Sumiton, Alabama was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on January 26, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Christine Crauswell; husband, Gavin Morgan; brother, James Crauswell (Jewell); sister, Mary Gilbreath (Sylvester); and daughter, Rebecca Arnold.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Morgan; son, Reverend Toby Morgan (Diane); grandchildren, Amy Aiken (Mike), Stephen Morgan, Andrew Morgan (Kristal), Morgan Arnold and Megan Arnold; great grandchildren, Alix Franks (Tony), Rhiannon Williams (Hagen), Reese Morgan and Kinley Morgan; great-great grandchildren, Collen Franks, Ashton Williams, Ollie Williams and Ezra Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Maxine was a member of Sumiton Church of God.  She was a loving woman that dedicated her life to helping others.  She spent most of her career as a RN at Carraway Hospital.  She helped oversee the very first intensive care unit and spent the last years of her career as a charge nurse.

She leaves behind a great legacy.  A Legacy of Love, love for life, family and Christ.  A legacy that will continue to grow through the hearts of each and every person she touched while here on earth.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel, with burial at Morgan Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
