Mary Ellen Jones, of Dora, AL, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Mary was born December 26, 1932 to Rosa and Thomas Sullivan. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 04, 2024 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Burial to follow at Shanghi Cemetery. Bro. Jack Thorn will be officiating.

She was preceded in death by husband Floyce "Red" Jones. She is survived by one sibling, James Sullivan, and preceded in death by siblings Nathan Sullivan, Ruth Higginbotham, Barbara Brown and Willie Sullivan.

Survived by children Joann (preceded in death by Winston) Parsons, Bill "Freddie" (Tess) Clayton, Rodney (Nancy) Clayton, Libby (Steve) Stone, Kerry (Cheryl) Jones, Rhonda (Darrin) White, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mary was an active member of Sumiton First Assembly of God and considered them family. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice Care of Jasper, AL.
