God has welcomed one of his most devoted and loving angels home. Mary J. Doss of Empire, Al took her rightful place as one of the Lord's most beautiful angels on September 11th, 2023 at the age of 76. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. Anyone who ever met her instantly loved her.

She was born on May 24th, 1947 in Sipsey, Al and has resided in Empire, Al for 47 years. Mary was loved by all who came to know her. She is proceeded in death by the love of her life, Carl Delaney Doss, her son Bobby Doss, grandson "Little Ricky" Dooley, son in law "Big Ricky" Dooley, some angel babies, and by several sisters, brothers, and her parents.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughter Patricia Posten [Gary] of Empire, son Charles [Robin] Doss of Empire, daughter Elaine Dooley of Empire and daughter Kimberly Brown [Roger] of Empire, multiple grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters, family and friends.

Funeral will be September 14th, at 2pm at Bell Sumiton Chapel and the visitation for friends on September 13th, at 6:00pm in the chapel
