Mary D. Armstrong, age 86 of Quinton died Sunday, May 5, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery. John Warren will officiate. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Armstrong.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Armstrong and his wife, Joyce of Birmingham and Ron Armstrong and his wife, Kim of Vermilion, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert Armstrong and his wife, Adrienne of Helena, Lee Armstrong and his wife, Nora of Fultondale, Matt Armstrong and his wife, Chloe of Noblesville, Indiana, Katy Patchett and her husband, Jason of Vermilion, Ohio, Susan Adams of Fort McCoy, Florida and Catherine Pritchard and her husband, Earnest of Morris; great-grandchildren, Lucas Armstrong, Mia Armstrong, Callie Armstrong, Jude Patchett and Jackson Patchett; former daughter-in-law, Charlotte Creel of Quinton; sister-in-law, Janelle Armstrong of Birmingham; and a host of nieces and nephews.
