Mr. Marlan E. Ray, age 77 of Sumiton died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at his residence.   Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 18, 2019 at Little Vine Cemetery in Empire.  There will be no visitation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ray.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Lockhart and her husband, Richard of Sumiton; son, Mike Ray of Manhattan, Kansas; grandchildren, Angie Hollis of Dora, Rona Brown of Hueytown, and Richard Lockhart, Jr. of Tuscaloosa; and a host of other relatives and friends.
