Marjorie Calloway Cobb, age 91, of Homewood passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Brookdale University Park Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Boldo Memory Gardens. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Marjorie was very artistic and enjoyed drawing, painting and other crafts. She also loved animals, especially cats; and was a loyal donor to the ASPCA and other animal welfare charities. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, comedy, listening to classic country music and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Vera Calloway; brothers, Jack Calloway and Charles Calloway; and daughter, Nancy Daws (David). She is survived by her sons, Greg Cobb (Deborah) and Jim Cobb (Debbie); granddaughters, Amy Brinkley (Charlie) and Jessie Cobb; great grandson, Chase Brinkley; and several close family and friends.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Brookdale University Park and Southern Care Hospice for the kind and loving care they provided over the last two years.
