Lowell David Atchley, "Bo", was born on Thursday, June 3,1954 and passed away on Monday, October 5,2026.

Some of the many ways to describe him and the life he led are: Daddy to his three children, Brother to his siblings, Son to a proud mom and dad, Provider to his family, Minister during his nursing home ministry, Leader at Acipco, employed for 27 years, Friend to more than can be counted, A present help in times of need, A blessing to all who knew him and A joy and a delight. 

Lowell is preceded in death by his parents, Charlene and Ocie Atchley and his brothers, Clifford, James, and Cletus Atchley. 

He is survived by his sisters, Linda Mezick, Nancy Moore, and Kathryn Davis as well as his children, Jeremy Atchley (Sonya), Timothy Atchley (Danielle) and Amanda Lawson (Shane), as well as nine grandchildren, Jaceton, Britton, Dominic, Jiselle, Ava, Hannah, Lauren, Marissa, Hannah, Grace and Hayden.

Graveside services will be on Thursday October 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Shanghi Cemetery, officiating will be Pastor Mike Kiker.

Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
