Louie Carl Duck, age 65 of Sumiton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Princeton Hospital.  Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangement.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel.  Visitation will be at 11:00 AM with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM.

Carl was a member of the Canaan Church of God.  He loved scuba diving, hunting, fishing, feeding his deer and Alabama football.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Carl Edward Duck and Gladys Oleane Ellison; and sisters, Marilyn Duck and Thomasene Barnett.

His survivors include his son, Dustin Duck (Katy); daughter, Stasha Soderlund (Matt); grandchildren, Jaxon and Tucker Soderlund; sister, Debbie Osborne; nephew, Dustin Osborne; and niece, Jeanna Sparman.   Special Survivors include Sandy Hockinson, Donald Russell, Shannon Bridgmon, Shree and Jennifer Frasier, Patelyn and Josie Walden and several other relatives and friends.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.
