Lois E. Blackwell, age 92 of Sumiton passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her residence.  Funeral services will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bell Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bryan Cemetery. Rev. James Aycox will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 1:00 till 2:00 PM in the chapel.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Asa James Blackwell; parents, Eula Jane and Raymond Odom; sibling, Loydd Odom, Lowell Odom, Inez Odom Kimbrell, and Irene Odom Thrasher; and son-in-law, Charles R. Pate.

Survivors include her children, Wanda Blackwell Pate, James Blackwell, and his wife, Susan, and Joe Blackwell, and his wife, Annette; siblings, Marie Odom Matthews, Margaret Odom Tucker, Ronnie Odom, and his wife, Janis, and Robert Earl Odom, and his wife, Joyce; 5 grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great grandchild; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
