Mrs. Lera Black Fowler, age 85, of Cordova passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation.  Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Brasfield Cemetery.  Jonathan Allen will officiate.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Earnest and Ellen Black; brothers, L.T. and E.J. Black; sisters, Emogene Rush and Joyce Browning; and son-in-law, Jim McLean.

Survivors include her sons, Tommy Fowler (Missy) of Cordova and Dennis Fowler of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Susie McLean of Adamsvlle; grandchildren, Ben Fowler of Cordova, and Megan and Jonathan Allen of Jasper; great grandson, Jon Thomas Allen; sister, Freida Hicks of Birmingport; brother, Bobby Black of Dora; and a host of other relatives and friends.
