Mrs. Laura Caneta Watson Mauldin, age 70, of Jasper passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Dilworth Church of Christ Cemetery. Dr. Rusty Bates and Darin Williams will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Colema Watson; and sister, Juanell Plyler.

She is survived by her husband, George Allen Mauldin of Jasper, AL; daughters, Shannon Williams (Darin) of Jasper, AL and Linda Mauldin of Jasper, AL; son, David Mauldin (Kelly) of Hayden, AL; sister, Loydean Herren of Germantown, TN; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
