Ms. Laura Marie Guthrie Martin, age 44, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at UAB Hospital.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gracie McGough, Olen Guthrie, Odis Medders and Lora Belle Medders.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Avery Martin and Ashlynn Ava Martin; parents, Billy Joe and Janice Marilyn Guthrie; sisters, Tanya Guthrie Drummond (Keith) and Angela Dawn Larkin (Robert); nieces, Stephanie Medved, Heather Mueller, Anna Drummond and Alison Drummond; and a host of other relatives and friends.
