Kathy Jean Vallejo was born on January 8, 1959, and passed away on November 1, 2026, at the age of 67. 

Kathi was the mother of Georgina Scott, Robert Hamrick, and Aminah Masood, and the grandmother of Tiffany Scott, DJ Scott, Nadiyah Masood, Ahlam Masood, Talha Masood, and Inaaya Masood. 

Kathi was preceded in death by her son, Robert Hamrick; her husband, James Hamrick; her father, Frank Vallejo; and her mother, Mary Vallejo.

 She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that will forever live in the hearts of her family and those who knew her. Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, resting in the loving arms of the Lord. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts, until we meet again, we love you always. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4

Visitation for Kathi Jean Vallejo will be Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home- Sumiton Chapel.
