Mrs. Judith Townsend, age 83 of Dora passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with Rev. John Foles officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery (7000 Bethel Road, Dora, AL 35062)Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Bell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death were her son, Tracy Townsend; parents, Charlie and Esther Cook; and sisters, Charlene Dodd and Lois Greene.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Townsend of Dora; daughter, Kathy Hawkins and her husband, Ed of Birmingham; sister, Martha Mackey of Dora; nieces, Lynn Sanford (Shane), and Lisa Gilbert (Darin); and a host of other relatives and friends.
