Joyce Stephens, age 81, of Cordova, AL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Born on July 31, 1942, Joyce was a beloved member of the Cordova community.  Joyce was also a passionate Alabama football fan, often heard cheering "Roll Tide!" during games.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Carlton Stephens; her children, Sheila Seales (Darryl) and David Stephens; her grandsons, John Estell and Shane Estell; her great-grandchildren, Ryan Estell, Izaiah Estell, Dezman Estell, Kaitlyn Estell, Shilah Estell, Bentle Estell, Karlie Stephens, and Olivia Stephens; and her great-great-granddaughter, Emersyn Estell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Louise Powers, and her in-laws, JC and Christen Stephens.

A graveside service will be held at Davis Cemetery on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00am. Bishop Bruce LeVan will be officiating.
