Bishop John Odell Green Sr., age 75 of Dora passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Twilleytown Church of God of Prophecy.  Rev. Don Stanton, Rev. Brian Sutton, and Rev. John Billy Butler will officiate.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the church.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding him in death were his son, Daniel Green; daughter, Yvonne Green; father, William Gaston Green; mother, Willadean Hall Spear; brothers, Robert Green, Willie Green, Charles Green and James Green; and sister, Wilma Hodges.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Green; sons, John Green (Terri) of Jasper, Ron Green (Marilyn) of Dora, Daniel Green (Hannah) of Birmingport, and Chris Green (Taylor Morefield) of Birmingport; daughter, JoAnn Ulmer (David) of Bessemer; brothers, Jack Green (Marinell) of Tuscumbia, Ken Baird (Belinda) of Russellville, Fred Byers (Betty) of Birmingham, and Joe Byers of Birmingham; sister, Mary Burford (James) of Fultondale; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Pallbearers include Daniel Green, Chris Green, Joshua Windham, Steven Windham, Alan Perdock and Hunter Moreland.
