Joe Lee Blackwell was born December 30, 1952 and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 21, 2022, at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by his Father Asa J. Blackwell; Mother Lois B. Blackwell. He is survived by his Wife of 47 years Annette Pate Blackwell of Dora; Daughter Larissa B. Blackwell of Sumiton; Son Brandon J. Blackwell (Tracy) of Empire; Granddaughter Cadence Blackwell of Empire; Sister Wanda Blackwell Pate and Brother James Blackwell. Visitation will be on Monday, January 24 ^th from Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Graveside Service will be held at Bryan Cemetery at 12:00 noon .
