Mr. Jerry Wayne Tolbert of Ralph was born on June 3, 1941, and at the age of 80, passed from this life into the presence of The Lord on October 20, 2021.  Graveside services will be held at McCormack Cemetery on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  There will be a celebration of life ceremony at Pleasant Grove UMC in Ralph, AL at a later date, with Pastor Steve Strickland officiating.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ann Green; parents, Andrew Tolbert and Bessie Kilgore Tolbert; daughter, Amy Tolbert Barton Rogers; brothers, Johnny Tolbert, Ralph Tolbert, Lloyd Posten and Harlen "Frosty" Tolbert; and sisters, Beadie Kovalenko, Odell Stachura, Jewel Johnson and Mary Kingsley.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Waid (Forrest); son, Phillip Tolbert (Ada Moore); step children, Clay Gibbs (Beth), Christy Wilson (Gary) and Corey Gibbs (Caroline);17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Tolbert (Linda); brother-in-law, Harold Clayton (Rachel); sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Tolbert, Rosie Posten and Violet Clayton; mothers of his children, Carolyn Pearce and Faye Swindle; and a host of nieces, nephews, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
