Jeffrey Lee Johnson, age 66 of Empire, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 surrounded by his family at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Johnson was born on April 4, 1956 to Loretta Diffy, one of four children. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Ratcliff; and his brothers, Gary and Larry Johnson.

He is survived by his children, Terry and his wife Morgan Johnson of Empire, David and his wife Erin Johnson of Panama City, FL, Berry Johnson of Panama City, FL, Austin and his wife Crystal Wilbert of Cullman, and Charlotte and her husband James Rhodes of Empire; a sister, Debra and her husband Allen McCleney of Mt. Olive; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, at 6:00 PM from the chapel of Bell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until service time at 6:00.
