James Dale McLain, age 72 of Dora passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Monday, December 31, 2018, at Bell Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Morgan Cemetery. Rev. Tyler Keene will officiate.  Visitation will be 5:00 till 7:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the funeral home.

Preceding him in death were his father, Talmadge McLain; mother, Flossie McLain; sister, Joyce Robison; brother, Paul McLain; and great-grandson, Jamison Ward.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Porter McLain; son, James McLain, and his wife, Sherry; daughter, Dayna McLain; granddaughters, Shenae McLain and Carrie Ward; grandsons, Jay Ward and James Dale McLain II; great-granddaughter, Brianna McLain; great-grandson, Jaxsen Williams; and sisters, Gail Phillips (twin) and Paulette Brewer.
